The Paramedic certification is the highest level of certification that is recognized by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.
To become a Paramedic, you will first need to be currently certified as and EMT-B or higher.
Paramedics have a vast scope of practice ranging from the basic skills of a First Responder to move invasive procedures such as endotracheal intubation. In addition to invasive procedures Paramedics have an expanded scope of drug administration.
After becoming a Paramedic, your talents will be in high demand. This demand is not limited to emergency operations in field, but can also include positions in hospital emergency room, intensive care units, and other opportunities in the health care filed.

This class is open to any currently certified EMT-B, EMT-I, or A-EMT.
