The course is designed to provide the
skills and knowledge for State Registered Nurse Aides to assume the
responsibility and to understand the legalities required in long-term care. The
focus of this course will be in patient communications, infection control,
safety, resident’s rights, and basic nursing skills.
The State Registered Nurse Assistant has a
direct effect on the overall quality of medical care.
CPR & Background check are included; books and state board test fee are not.
Approximately 10-12 class days plus clinical days.
The successful completion of this course enables the student to take the SRNA test.
The course is designed for individuals pursuing a career in the Nursing field.
